The purpose of the Minnesota Positive Behavior Support Network is to bring leaders in positive behavior support from across the state together to collaborate and encourage interagency collaboration. A unifying element of the network is the state agency leadership from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). Professionals representing MDE and DHS, the Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University St. Cloud, the University of Minnesota, and University of St. Thomas will work together to gather and share information about implementation efforts and technical assistance resources. The network includes family members with experience and interest in positive behavior support. This network will also work with APBS to prepare for an upcoming APBS Conference in Minnesota (2021) and help the community understand what APBS does and why it is important.
